The firm was founded in 1961 by Federico Citterio in Lissone, Brianza Milanese; during the years the sole-trader firm has developed into a multiple partnership, trading under the name "CITTERIO Salotti S.n.c.", and established itself throughout the country as the leader in design and production of padded furniture.

Its young and ‘different’ design, rich in surprising solutions and unique details, along with high quality standards and a great artisan experience, form the basis of our products’ success. This allowed us to acquire valuable clientele – and not only within Italy – for our production of armchairs and small armchairs, sofas, modular pieces, sofa-beds and textile padded beds.

Besides our production catalogue of exclusive models, able to be customised with textiles in different weaves and colours, our company produces custom-design based articles and adjusts its production line to conform to particular market demands.

Thanks to our internal flexibility, craftsmanship and will to realise our customers’ concepts, CITTERIO Salotti S.n.c., today offers a product unique for the quality and quantity of services offered; in other words padded furniture manufactured on the basis of an exclusive drawings and “tailor made” for the end user.
